Senior Building Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Running large and/or complex projects, monitoring progress and expenditure, and planning and managing project resources.
• Providing assistance with the bid process and undertaking business development activities.
• Preparing and overseeing designs and reports.
• Undertaking surveys in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
• Representing the firm at client meetings and presentations.
• Monitoring day-to-day programming and planning.
• Assisting with planning and managing project resources, including the technical development of junior staff.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of building principles, preparing plans and specifications.
• JCT and NEC3 contract administration experience.
• Experience working within a Building Surveying role.
• Ability to monitor and report on progress and expenditure of projects.
• Sound knowledge of drafting technical documents.
• Ability to work well in a team and motivated to deliver excellence.
• Commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks.
• RICS Chartered status.
