Summary: The Senior BIM Coordinator role involves supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects across various sectors for a leading UK organization. The position requires producing high-quality civil and structural CAD design deliverables, including 3D models and technical drawings, while working within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce preliminary and detailed 2D and 3D civil and structural designs for temporary and permanent works, in line with instructions from Lead Engineers and Designers.
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models and extract 2D drawings using Aveva E3D, and where required Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Work effectively within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage and control design information.
- Ensure all draughting activities are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules, while maintaining technical accuracy and quality.
- Apply relevant industry codes, standards, and procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practice.
- Implement company and client/project policies and procedures consistently across all deliverables.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to clearly define and resolve design interfaces.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, vendors, and other departments as required.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in civil and structural CAD design for infrastructure or pipeline projects.
- Competent in the design and detailing of foundations, below-ground infrastructure (drainage, cable ducting, etc.), and steelwork and concrete structures.
- Experience in reinforced concrete detailing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with 4D simulation, construction sequencing, and clash detection software is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage your own workload effectively.

We are working with a leading UK infrastructure delivery organisation with a long heritage, known for working across transport, water, energy and defence, supporting complex programmes from early-stage design through to construction and asset optimisation.
We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of pipeline and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team- and often with minimal supervision - you will be responsible for producing high-quality civil and structural CAD design deliverables, including 3D models, technical drawings, and sketches.
