Summary: The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer role is a contract position focused on infrastructure and deployment, requiring expertise in Terraform and Azure. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines
- Provision and maintain infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
- Execute and improve runbooks for environment deployment and adjustments
- Work with Azure services, subscriptions, networking, and event brokers
- Collaborate within an Agile, sprint-based delivery model (Scrum/Kanban hybrid)
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC)
- Deep knowledge of Azure core infrastructure
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
- Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity, and event systems
- Ability to work in a self-organizing, collaborative Agile team
- Comfortable with 5 days onsite in Glasgow

Senior Azure Devops Engineer (Contract) | £650-£700 p/day (IIR35) | Glasgow (5 days onsite)
We're looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for a high profile client. The role is infrastructure- and deployment-focused (not development) and requires strong Terraform and Azure expertise. You'll be working on critical cloud initiatives including Subscription Factory and Fleet Management within a collaborative Agile environment.
Rate: £600-£700 (IIR35)
Based: Glasgow, 5 days a week
Length: 6 months contract (strong possibility of extension)
Start: ASAP
