Summary: The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop deployments. The role involves implementing security best practices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Additionally, the engineer will create documentation and provide training to support teams and junior engineers while monitoring and troubleshooting Azure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and optimize Azure application environments, resource groups, and networking components.
- Implement best practices for security, governance, tagging, and cost management in Azure environment.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- Integrate Azure Virtual Desktop with Azure Active Directory and other necessary Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and optimize session host performance and user experience.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM and RBAC.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
- Define automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployments.
- Create detailed documentation on system architecture and operations guides.
- Establish monitoring solutions and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
Key Skills:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
