Summary: The role of Senior Authorised Person involves delivering the Overhead Line (OHL) campaign for Scottish Power Energy Networks in Wales. Candidates must be SPEN authorised with OHL experience and will be responsible for various tasks including project management, safety compliance, and outage planning. The position offers a day rate outside IR35 and requires an ASAP start for a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCB PMT replacements
- Switchgear replacements and upgrades
- Cable overlays
- Vegetation management and tree cutting
- Ensuring safety from the system
- Planning outages and arranging works for Overhead linesmen and other contractors
- Issue safety documents and permits
- Project managing and planning outages
- Adhering to safety regulations ensuring supply, quality and continuity
- Cancellation of safety documents when works complete
- Switching up to and including 11kV
- Writing and then implementing switching schedules
- Assist with storm duties when required

Requirements:
- Preferably live in Wales
- SPEN authorised Senior Authorised Person (those with limitations will be considered)
- OHL experience authorisations
Responsibilities:
- PCB PMT replacements
