Summary: The role of Senior Authorised Person involves overseeing high voltage (HV) operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in North Yorkshire and the North East. This is a 6-month initial contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate. Key Responsibilities:
- Full SAP responsibilities including HV switching, isolations, earthing, and LOTO.
- Manage Permits to Work / Sanctions for Test Safety from the system.
- Review and approve RAMS, switching programmes, and energisation plans.
- Ensure compliance with DNO safety rules, preferably Northern Powergrid.
Key Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Authorised Person.
- At least 33 kV SAP authorisation with recognised HV switching competency.
- Proven experience under UK HV Safety Rules.
