11kV Senior Authorised Person– 12 month contract – SSEN South – Outside IR35 – Septmeber start date

I am looking for a 11kV Senior Authorised Person. You will be responsible for Safety from the System with Sanctions for Test.

Requirements:

  • Previous or current authorisations up to 11kV as a Senior Authorised Person under SSEN with Sanctions for test on the underground networks
  • Solid understanding of Electrical Safety
  • Experience and understanding of distribution
  • Must have full UK driver license and own vehicle

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring safety from the system
  • Planning outages and arranging works for Overhead linesmen and other contractors
  • Issue safety documents and permits
  • Project managing and planning outages
  • Adhering to safety regulations ensuring supply, quality and continuity.
  • Cancellation of safety documents when works complete
  • Operate compliantly under the SSEN Safety Rules
  • Issue limitation of access documents
  • Switching up to and including 11kV
  • Writing and then implementing switching schedules
  • Assist with storm duties when required
