Summary: Our client, a prominent multi-disciplinary property consultancy, is looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their team in Glasgow. The role involves leading a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector projects while mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver a range of building surveying instructions across commercial and public sector portfolios
- Take responsibility for contract administration and project management of refurbishment schemes
- Deliver professional services including dilapidations, schedules of condition and TDD
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development
- Mentor junior surveyors and assist with APC preparation
- Contribute to team management and internal processes (Associate level)
Key Skills:
- MRICS qualified with several years post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in delivering both professional and project-based building surveying services
- Comfortable leading client meetings and managing project teams
- Previous experience mentoring or line managing junior staff (for Associate level)
- Full UK driving licence
