Summary: The Senior Applications Support Officer role is a 3-month hybrid position focused on supporting and developing the NEC Housing systems within the Council. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level application support for NEC Housing.

Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of NEC Housing, including its application and database tables.
- Strong expertise in either NEC Repairs or NEC Rents and Estates.
- Significant SQL skills for extracting and manipulating data from the NEC Housing database.
- Experience troubleshooting Repairs issues and/or financial reconciliation of migrated accounts from a Legacy system into NEC.

Senior Applications Support Officer

The Council are looking for an experienced Senior Applications Support Officer to play a key role in supporting and developing the NEC Housing systems.
You will work as part of a specialist team implementing and supporting modules within the NEC Housing system, helping ensure housing services run smoothly for residents and staff.
What you'll be doing
You will provide expert-level application support for NEC Housing, working closely with service teams to maintain data quality, resolve issues and support system improvements. This will include hands-on system support, data analysis and problem-solving across critical housing functions.
Essential skills and experience
You must have:
- Extensive knowledge of NEC Housing, including both the application and its database tables
- Strong expertise in either:
- NEC Repairs, or
- NEC Rents and Estates
- Significant SQL skills, with experience extracting and manipulating data from the NEC Housing database
- Experience of troubleshooting Repairs issues and/or financial reconciliation of migrated accounts from a Legacy system into NEC
