Summary: The Senior Application Support Officer will lead the implementation of new NEC modules within a Revenues and Benefits transformation project for a public sector organization. This role requires extensive technical expertise in NEC systems and strong stakeholder engagement skills. The position is hybrid, requiring initial on-site attendance in Bristol for induction and equipment collection. The contract duration is 16 weeks with an immediate start date in March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation of new NEC EDM modules including Data Integration Hub, Email Connect, and Document Bundling.
  • Configure and administer NEC Revenues & Benefits back-end systems.
  • Scope and plan implementation activities.
  • Liaise with business users and technical stakeholders.
  • Set up and manage back-end parameters.
  • Lead and undertake system testing (including UAT support).
  • Ensure successful deployment of modules into live environments.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with NEC EDM.
  • Strong back-end administration knowledge of NEC Revenues & Benefits systems.
  • Proven track record of leading module implementations end-to-end.

Senior Application Support Officer

Location: Hybrid – Bristol (BS1)

Contract: 16 Weeks

Start Date: Immediate (March 2026)

Rate: £310.36 per day (PAYE) / £400 per day (Umbrella)

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Application Support Officer to support a key Revenues and Benefits transformation project within a large public sector organisation.

This is a 16-week interim contract requiring strong technical expertise in NEC Revenues & Benefits systems and NEC Enterprise Document Management (EDM).

About the Role

You will play a lead role in supporting the implementation of new NEC modules within the Revenues and Benefits function. This is hands-on technical and project-focused work requiring deep back-end configuration experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

The role is hybrid. You must attend site in Bristol on your first day for induction and IT equipment collection, with further on-site attendance by agreement.

This is a highly specialist interim requirement and would suit a candidate who has previously delivered NEC module implementations within a local authority or similar public sector environment.
