Summary: The Senior Application Development Lead is responsible for overseeing IT application projects within complex environments, ensuring effective management of the software development lifecycle. This role requires extensive experience in application development, project management, and technical leadership, particularly in enterprise and public-sector settings. The position also involves providing second-level application support and coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Azure and SQL Server technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT application projects in complex enterprise, government, healthcare, or public-sector environments.
- Lead full SDLC initiatives including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and enhancement.
- Provide technical leadership for websites, enterprise applications, databases, integrations, and vendor-supported systems.
- Provide second-level application support and production troubleshooting.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server databases and applications in Microsoft Azure.
- Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, business divisions, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation, project artifacts, assessment reports, future-state designs, and migration recommendations.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience.
- 7+ years of expert application development, application engineering, or application support experience.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience supporting applications in Microsoft Azure and administering Azure environments.
