Senior Airworthiness Engineer - Qatar Hawk

Summary: The Senior Airworthiness Engineer will play a crucial role in the Qatar Hawk project, focusing on the safety and functionality of military aircraft systems. This position involves developing and maintaining the Product Integrity - Airworthiness Capability Discipline within a hybrid working environment. The engineer will ensure effective engineering management and provide subject matter expertise to project teams. Candidates should possess a strong background in aircraft design and development, along with relevant regulatory knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, improve, and maintain the Product Integrity - Airworthiness Capability Discipline.
• Ensure effective Engineering Management System across Air for design, development, and assurance of Airworthiness deliverables.
• Provide Airworthiness subject matter expert advice to Project and Product teams.
• Deliver Product Integrity deliverables to the required quality to meet corporate and legal standards.

Key Skills:

• Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject.
• 5-10 years experience in aircraft design and development.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Confident in the use of engineering toolsets.
• Good communication, supervisory, and team working skills.
• Knowledge of military and civil airworthiness regulatory environments.
• Understanding of Airworthiness standards such as CS25/CAP 722.
• Previous experience with MoD / DE&S.
