Summary: The Senior Agile Delivery Manager will lead a public sector project for a leading tech consultancy on a 6-month contract basis. The role requires previous experience in delivery lead or delivery manager positions within government, focusing on improving delivery methods and team empowerment. The position is hybrid and based in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, or Blackpool, with an immediate start. The role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of products and services that add value through different phases of the life cycle.
- Ensure the product or service is developed in line with the appropriate service standards for a phase.
- Help teams to measure, evaluate, and visualize outcomes.
- Identify and challenge organizational processes of increasing complexity and those that are unnecessarily complicated.
- Create the right environment for a team to work in and empower them to deliver.
- Compare and select the most appropriate delivery methods and processes.
- Work on Alpha phase government projects.
Key Skills:

We’re searching for a Delivery Lead for a leading tech consultancy, to work on a public sector project for 6 months initially. To be considered for the role you will need full right to work in the UK and must have held previous delivery lead or delivery manager roles within government.
Essential experience:
- Has worked on Alpha phase government projects previously
- Able to compare and select the most appropriate delivery methods and processes
- Helps teams to measure, evaluate and visualise outcomes
- Can identify and challenge organisational processes of increasing complexity and those processes that are unnecessarily complicated
- Helps to create the right environment for a team to work in and can empower them to deliver
- Manages the delivery of products and services that add value through different phases of the life cycle
