Agile Coach contractors are hired to improve the way organisations deliver work, operating at a level above individual team facilitation. Where a Scrum Master typically serves one or two teams, an Agile Coach works across multiple teams, programmes, or an entire delivery organisation to embed agile ways of working, remove systemic impediments, and build internal capability so that the organisation can sustain its own agile practice after the coach departs.
