Summary: The Senior Agile Business Analyst & Lean Specialist role focuses on driving process improvements and automation within a transformation team in the Media and Telecommunications sector. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape requirements and deliver business value. The ideal candidate will possess strong Agile and Lean expertise, along with excellent stakeholder management skills. This is a contract position based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional development teams to shape requirements.
- Drive process improvements and enable automation that delivers business value.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
- Utilize Lean methodologies and perform process/value stream mapping.
- Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively to influence and challenge.
- Utilize Jira, Confluence, and related Agile delivery tools.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst in Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, BDD, and backlog management.
- Hands-on experience with user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Expertise in Lean methodologies and process/value stream mapping.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset for gap analysis and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery tools.
- Experience in automation projects (workflow automation, RPA, etc.).
- Exposure to telecoms or technology transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Kanban and DevOps practices.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst within Agile environments across Media and Telecommunications
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, BDD, and backlog management.
- Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Expertise in Lean methodologies and process/value stream mapping.
- Must have well rounded experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge.

Location & Working Pattern
London / Reading – onsite 2/3 days per week, followed by occasional travel to Reading for workshops.
