Summary: The Senior Advisor for the Chemicals Programme at the Environment Agency will lead compliance efforts related to Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in waste management. This role requires a technical leader with a regulatory background to engage with stakeholders, advise the government, and design regulatory approaches. The successful candidate will manage evidence studies and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with POPs restrictions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Environment Agency’s POPs compliance work and deliver environmental objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and advice to government and industry stakeholders.
