Summary: Expleo is looking for a Senior Acoustics Engineer to support a key automotive client in Warwick, focusing on wind noise performance across vehicle lines. The role involves acting as the in-plant representative for wind noise attributes and resolving performance deviations. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the wind noise attribute within the manufacturing environment, acting as the voice of the customer.
- Monitor and assess wind noise performance through objective measurements, subjective drive assessments, and static evaluations.
- Conduct build conformance checks and initial root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
- Liaise with the core aeroacoustics team to understand critical attribute characteristics of upcoming vehicle launches and ongoing quality actions.
Key Skills:
- Experience in an automotive production plant quality or engineering role.
- Proficiency in engineering problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
- Full UK driving licence with the ability to perform subjective vehicle assessments.
- Familiarity with plant attributes such as Squeak & Rattle (S&R), Wind Noise, Water Testing, NVH development and measurement, Vehicle testing and assessment, and Automotive component development.
