Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our clients Finance team on a temporary basis for a 3-month contract. This role is crucial for someone with a strong background in financial operations and systems transition, particularly between SAP and NetSuite. The ideal candidate will be a driven professional who thrives in managing detailed financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and oversee detailed financial operations including balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, fixed asset register maintenance, journal entries).
• Conduct variance analysis and ensure the P&L and month-end close activities are completed to draft 1 level for review.
• Reconcile data during the transition from SAP to NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and continuity.
• Support ERP implementations and enhancements, with a focus on improving financial processes and reporting.
• Work independently to manage multiple financial tasks and projects with high precision.
• Experience with Auditing would be preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Required familiarity with SAP; experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Proven experience with ERP implementations, particularly during system transitions.
• Strong capability in completing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Excellent analytical skills for effective variance analysis.
• Ability to work independently with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
