We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our clients Finance team on a temporary basis for a 3-month contract. This role is crucial for someone with a strong background in financial operations and systems transition, particularly between SAP and NetSuite. The ideal candidate will be a driven professional who thrives in managing detailed financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and oversee detailed financial operations including balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, fixed asset register maintenance, journal entries).
- Conduct variance analysis and ensure the P&L and month-end close activities are completed to draft 1 level for review.
- Reconcile data during the transition from SAP to NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and continuity.
- Support ERP implementations and enhancements, with a focus on improving financial processes and reporting.
- Work independently to manage multiple financial tasks and projects with high precision.
- Experience with Auditing would be preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Required familiarity with SAP; experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Proven experience with ERP implementations, particularly during system transitions.
- Strong capability in completing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Excellent analytical skills for effective variance analysis.
- Ability to work independently with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
