Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts (FRS 102 / FRS 105)
  • Prepare and review management accounts
  • Prepare and review corporation tax returns
  • Prepare and review VAT returns
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice
  • Support and review work of junior staff
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC and Companies House deadlines
  • Identify opportunities for additional services (tax planning, advisory, etc.)
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and improving internal processes

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice
  • ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or equivalent (or qualified by experience)
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience managing a client portfolio independently
  • Proficient in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

Requirements
