Summary: This role is for a Senior Account Manager or Junior Account Director at a financial services creative agency in London, responsible for managing integrated communications projects. The position requires strong client management skills and a strategic approach to project delivery, ensuring high-quality creative output. The role is a 12-month maternity cover starting in May/June, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office and two days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary day-to-day contact for all clients
- Attend client meetings and produce accurate contact reports within 48 hours
- Develop close, long-term client relationships
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring all work is on-brand before it reaches the client
- Implement planning and control mechanisms: creative briefs, schedules and status reports
- Cost projects and ensure efficient, timely purchase processes
- Update monthly financial projections on a weekly basis for Directors
- Manage workflow and production planning in liaison with internal teams and clients
- Develop creative briefs that satisfy both strategic and creative client requirements
- Evaluate creative work against the brief and on its own merits
- Gatekeep overall quality before presenting to clients
- Earn the respect of the Creative Department to effectively champion client feedback
- Demonstrate conceptual thinking - bring solutions, not problems
- Ensure all creative output (concepts, artwork, video, digital) is signed off by GAD and Creative Director before client delivery
- Source and estimate print and production materials - ideally at concept stage
- Accurately cost-estimate digital and video production
- Agree realistic timing plans with clients
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments from print specs through to final output
- Present work to clients alongside Group Account Director
- Keep Directors up-to-date with client business status
- Identify when to escalate and involve Directors in client matters
- Assist with project costing
- Produce high-quality client case studies for new business presentations
Key Skills:
- Minimum 4 years agency experience or 3 years as a Marketing Executive in a Marketing Department of a financial services company on the client side
- Good understanding of the financial services market, with some relevant experience working with a financial services organisation
- Good understanding of digital, design, marketing, production techniques and agency systems and procedures

This is a rare and brilliant opportunity for a confident, experienced, and strategic Senior Account Manager or Junior Account Director.
