Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with SEND in classroom settings.
- Assist with daily, short-term, and long-term supply needs in schools.
- Build strong relationships with students to understand their individual needs.
- Provide 1:1 support or work with small groups of students.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding requirements, including obtaining enhanced DBS checks.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Experience working with children with SEND, including Autism, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, EBD, and ADD.
- Relevant qualifications for specific roles (e.g., QTS for teachers, Level 2/3 for teaching assistants).
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Encouraging and supportive personality.
- Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
- Experience in early years education for nursery assistants.
