Summary: The role of SEN L2 Teaching Assistant involves supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting in Ashington, Northumberland. The successful candidate will work primarily with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who have complex needs, including Autism and emotional behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in trial shifts before the end of the year.

Education World are working on behalf of an Ashington based primary school with extremely high SEN proportions. This is a lovely small school doing their best for pupils with complex intellectual and emotional needs. The successful candidate would be working in EYFS/ the specialist base. This would be with children with EHCPs with needs including Autism, Language and Communication difficulties, and Social and Emotional behavioural needs. All of these children are expected to be challenging and show some levels of dysregulation. The candidate would require extreme emotional resilience, as well as experience working with SEN, either lived or professional, and demonstrate a full commitment to team work. The school are looking to speak to any candidate with the relevant experience including a Level 2 qualification in a relevant field. Trial shifts will be organised before end of the year.
