Summary: The Security Tester role requires an SC Cleared professional to join a global IT consultancy focused on digital transformation within the Health Service. The position involves supporting the current test team with various security initiatives and ensuring robust cyber resilience. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence two days a week. Key responsibilities include identifying security gaps, developing test strategies, and managing vulnerabilities across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong capability to identify security gaps across systems and processes.
- Experience creating and applying risk models.
- Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive cyber security test strategy.
- Strong understanding of Azure security risks, especially related to Azure Storage.
- Knowledge of immutable backups and secure data retention strategies.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, including full restore testing.
- Expertise in multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup and testing.
- Vulnerability management - scanning, prioritization, remediation validation.
- Ability to design and interpret security dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
- Awareness of system throttling and its security implications.
- Ideally comfortable upskilling the rest of the team so we can cover basic Cybersecurity testing.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience with manual testing (systems, APIs, and applications).
- Languages: JavaScript and Python.
- Tools: Confluence, Jenkins, Jira, Splunk.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Experience working in healthcare.

Location: Leeds - Hybrid 2 days per week on a Tuesday & Thursday
Clearance: SC Clearance required
You will join a global IT Consultancy who are bringing digital transformation the Health Service.
You will join current test team to support CIS1, CIS2, & DSS. This also includes being part of the Cyber resilience that is happening within IAM.
