Summary: The SOC Business Analyst role focuses on enhancing security capabilities within a Security Operations Centre for a leading utilities organization. The position requires expertise in cybersecurity, operational technology, and business transformation to drive security-focused changes across critical infrastructure. The analyst will be responsible for defining requirements and improving visibility in security operations. This is a contract position for 3 months with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cybersecurity or IT environments
- Exposure to Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments or security operations
- Experience working within regulated industries (e.g. utilities, water, energy)
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure
- Experience working with asset and application inventories
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in cybersecurity or IT
- Familiarity with Security Operations Centre environments
- Background in regulated industries
- Understanding of Operational Technology
