Summary: The Security Engineer role requires an individual with a valid NATO Secret security clearance to enhance the organization's security posture amidst evolving threats. Key Responsibilities:
- Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, private cloud) according to industry best practices
- Implement cloud security controls, monitoring, and threat detection
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct security reviews of code and infrastructure deployments
- Champion automation and “shift-left” security principles
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
- Manage and optimize SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence tools
Key Skills:
- Active NATO Secret security clearance (or national equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity roles across cloud, DevSecOps, SecOps, and infrastructure security
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and security services
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency with security automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and security scanning platforms
