Summary: The Security Engineer: Mainframe role requires a college graduate with over five years of relevant experience in mainframe environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure mainframe security software and understand its internals (Broadcom/CA-TSS)
- Program in command Mainframe batch and reporting languages (C, JCL, and REXX)
- Work with distributed technology (such as: UNIX, USS file systems)
- Utilize z/OS utilities and facilities (such as: ISPF, TSO, SDSF, JES)
- Manage database technology (such as: Sybase, DB2, SQL)
- Work independently with limited oversight
- Plan projects, organize tasks, manage time effectively, and multi-task
- Utilize MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Foster a team-first environment and culture
