Security Engineer Location: Warwick / Wokingham / Corsham / Farnborough (Hybrid – vast majority of work is expected to be remote – however there may be occasional travel) Work Type: Contract Outside IR35 Work Model: [Hybrid / Remote] Rate - 350 - 380 GBP/Day
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to take technical ownership of a customer’s security infrastructure and support day-to-day security operations, projects, changes and technical escalations.
What You’ll Do
Provide technical ownership of the customer’s security infrastructure, processes and documentation.
Act as a senior technical point of contact for security projects, changes and firewall modifications.
Troubleshoot security infrastructure incidents and work with vendors when required.
Design and support customer network solutions, including high-level and low-level designs.
Perform and support firewall, network and security changes.
Manage hardware, software, inventory and lifecycle activities including EOL.
Support change management and technical escalations.
Key Skills /Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with F5
- Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall and network security VPN technologies
- Network routing and troubleshooting
We are looking for someone who is technically hands-on, confident with troubleshooting and comfortable working as a senior point of reference for security infrastructure.
