Summary: The Security Domains Business Analyst role requires a candidate with financial services experience to support the implementation of a new security standard. The position involves gathering metrics, monitoring compliance, and collaborating with Data Engineering teams to automate data processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the rollout of a new security standard by gathering metrics and monitoring non-compliance.
- Build out processes and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to automate data collection and reporting.
- Track and monitor non-compliances and assist in data cleansing for analysis.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed.

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Security Domains Business Analyst to join their team in either the South of Manchester, Glasgow or Northampton.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for supporting the rollout of a new security standard by gathering metrics, monitoring non-compliance, building out processes, and collaborating with Data Engineering teams to automate data collection and reporting.
They are working on the rollout of a new standard, and the ideal candidate would support this alongside gathering metrics, tracking and monitoring non-compliances/building out processes etc. Also, they would work with the Data Engineering teams to automate data collection and feeds. Length of experience is not relevant as they will provide all training, however, this may suit a recent grad.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Addressing data risks and gaps.
- Execution of data cleansing to prepare data for analysis.
- Self- Starter, proactive and flexible
- Dealing with confidential and private information with integrity and sensitivity
- Good communicator (written and oral), ability to provide directions to others, ability to competently and confidently deal with people at all levels
- Sound experience in processes and procedures, well- organised and structured, ability to plan, to balance different requirements and prioritise own workload
- Required skills include proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong analytical abilities, with a methodical approach, sound judgement and close attention to detail.
- Problem solving - ability to think unconventionally and find solutions to unstructured problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate difficult or complex ideas clearly and constructively.
- Collaborative, able to drive agreement across varying stakeholders and confident in negotiating and influencing colleagues or stakeholders.
- Experience within Risk and Control / Policies/Frameworks is preferred however, not essential.
