Summary: The Security Consultant role is a part-time position for a duration of 2-3 months, requiring active security clearance and sole British nationality. The consultant will engage in security-cleared projects, providing expertise in compliance and security operations for MOD and similar organizations. The role offers two routes: a Senior Consultant position requiring 3-4 days a week, or a Consultant role for 1-2 days a week. The position is primarily remote with occasional site visits to Bristol or East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engagement with bid team and customer
- Work with Enterprise Architect, Service Architect, and Third-Party Federal Services team to ensure integration of US elements into solutions
- Ensure business compliance with customer obligations such as NIST and other frameworks
- Provide security consultancy on compliance requirements
- Assist in designing transition, transformation, and run security operations
- Perform GAP assessments for standard company products against customer security requirements
- Support design of custom delivery solutions for UK specific network elements
- Support bid team with expert knowledge of industrial MOD networks
- Provide detailed knowledge of applicable DEFSTANs and JSPs
- Interface with customers to provide credibility for Third-Party capabilities
- Interpret HMG regulations into commercial realities for architects
