Summary: The Security Cleared - M&E Fire Stopping Planner role involves supporting site ICS work packages on a major defence project, focusing on organizing and overseeing fire stopping activities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. The position requires active SC Clearance and proficiency in project management tools like Primavera P6. The planner will work under the supervision of the Head of Planning to develop and maintain detailed work package delivery programmes. Immediate availability is preferred for this on-site position in Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site ICS work packages to develop and maintain a detailed work package delivery programme.
- Organize and oversee fire stopping activities to ensure adherence to fire safety regulations and project specifications.
- Develop and execute fire stopping plans per project specifications and regulations.
- Ensure proper installation at service penetration points through coordinated sequencing.
Key Skills:
- Active SC Clearance.
- Proficient with Primavera P6.
- Previous experience in fire stopping, passive fire protection, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of service penetrations, fire stopping techniques, and M&E coordination.
- Familiarity with fire safety regulations and building codes (e.g., BS 476, EN 1366, ASFP guidelines).
