Security Architect - Microsoft

Summary: A Security Architect (Microsoft) is needed for a contract role with a global consultancy, focusing on security architecture, governance, and risk management. The position requires a hybrid work pattern, with three days on-site and two days remote, based in Manchester, Birmingham, or Sheffield. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess existing Microsoft security suite and identify weaknesses/strengths for existing products (CrowdStrike, Endpoint, Defender)
• Perform capability assessments of a range of MS Security products
• Produce and update end-to-end solution designs to meet business requirements
• Deliver security architecture design documents aligning with functional and non-functional business needs
• Manage and provide solutions to technical risks
• Present and advise stakeholders as the cybersecurity SME

• E5 Security-Up Compliance
• Microsoft Security Architect Expert (SC1000)
• CISSP / CISM Certification
• BizzDesign / Archi, or UML Visualisation Experience
