Security Architect

Summary: The IT Security Architect role involves developing and implementing a robust security architecture for a client in the marketing and analytics sector. The position requires active participation in designing, documenting, and executing security strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards while enhancing the organization's security posture. The role is hybrid, requiring two days a week on-site in London, and focuses on leveraging Microsoft Azure for security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses, updating documentation on current security posture.
• Refine high-level and detailed security architectures, including network segmentation and access controls.
• Develop and refine security policies, SOPs, and access control policies.
• Create a roadmap for security deployment and confirm tool selections.
• Review and enhance security monitoring frameworks and define incident response protocols.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and prepare audit documentation.
• Develop and execute penetration testing plans and oversee vulnerability management.
• Create security awareness materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams.
• Maintain a detailed security project plan and report on implementation status.

Key Skills:

• Experience in designing and implementing security solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of industry security standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proficiency in security architecture design and risk management.
