Summary: The Security Architect will lead a secure-by-design review for a defence-aligned programme aimed at modernising a highly secure digital capability. This role involves assessing architectural and control gaps against current defence security standards and defining the target state architecture for a critical platform. The position requires DV clearance and a strong background in security architecture within defence or high-assurance environments. The role is based in Hertfordshire with a minimum of one day a week required on-site.

Security Architect – Infrastructure - DV - £700 Day - Outside IR35

Security Architect required for a defence-aligned programme modernising a highly secure digital capability. You will lead a secure-by-design review, assess architectural and control gaps against current defence security standards, and define the target state architecture for a critical platform.

Key experience required:

  • Proven Security Architect background within defence or high-assurance environments
  • Strong understanding of security standards, architectural controls and risk-based design
  • Experience conducting formal security assessments and producing governance-ready documentation
  • Confident engaging with senior technical and assurance stakeholders
