Security Architect

Overview

As a Senior Zero Trust Security Architect, you'll be at the forefront of developing and executing a comprehensive security strategy, aligning cutting-edge architecture with business objectives.

You'll partner closely with CIOs, CISOs, and security teams, driving cloud security modernization and embedding security-by-design principles into every project.

Your expertise will empower our organization to confidently navigate an evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise Zero Trust security strategy and roadmap, leading security transformation programs across Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures aligned with industry standards like NIST 800-207, establishing security patterns for users, devices, applications, workloads, and data.
• Lead cloud security initiatives, creating secure landing zones, governance frameworks, and controls across Azure and AWS.
• Develop enterprise IAM frameworks incorporating Microsoft Entra ID, AWS IAM, Privileged Access Management, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Conditional Access.
• Design Zero Trust Network Security architectures leveraging ZTNA, SASE, SDPs, and micro-segmentation strategies to reduce attack surface and lateral movement risks.
• Provide architectural leadership for security operations including monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and threat hunting. Drive integration with tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Splunk.
• Manage security governance frameworks, oversee risk assessments, ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and lead security risk review processes.
• Promote security automation across software development with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and automation of security controls and vulnerability management.

Must-Have

• 12-15+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 7+ years in security architecture leadership.
• Proven success leading enterprise-scale Zero Trust programs.
• Extensive experience securing and designing architectures within Azure and AWS clouds.
• Strong ability to advise senior executives, governance boards, and technical teams.
• Expertise in designing IAM, network security, threat protection, compliance, and DevSecOps.
• Technical skills with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, AWS services, and security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, and Splunk.

Nice-to-Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect, AWS Security Specialty, TOGAF, or SABSA.
• Experience with security standards and frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
• Leadership skills in managing global security teams and large transformation projects.
