Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address current cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Quantify the potential business impact of cyber attacks on UK Public Sector bodies.
• Specify and implement security controls and design patterns for infrastructure, networks, and applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote and implement security measures.
• Provide actionable cyber security advice and continuously improve it based on feedback.
• Train and upskill team members in cyber security practices.
• Stay informed about the marketplace of cyber security products and services.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of current cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with OWASP and security controls for cloud architectures.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of security advantages and vulnerabilities of common technologies.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as CISSP, CCP, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer.
