Our client is a government department, investing heavily in IT and looking to hire an experienced Information Security Architect in Newcastle. This is an initial 12 month contract, inside IR35 and paying up to £750 (with expenses on top) You’ll have the chance to take the lead on a range of projects, develop new, innovative, security architecture solutions and create a vision, principles and strategy for Information Security. You’ll need a deep understanding of security concepts and be able to communicate these, and risk implications, to technical and non-technical stakeholders With this, you’ll need experience of complex, large-scale, microservice infrastructure, AWS cloud and database application such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
