Summary: The Security Architect role involves designing and implementing security frameworks and solutions to protect organizational assets, with a focus on network, infrastructure, and cloud security. The candidate will be responsible for conducting security assessments, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with IT teams to integrate security best practices. Hands-on experience with various security tools and relevant certifications are essential for this position. The role requires a strong understanding of security architecture and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks and standards.
  • Ensure concepts related to Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM are integrated during solutioning.
  • Design secure network and infrastructure solutions to protect the organization’s assets.
  • Implement and use cloud native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Centre, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform and oversee vulnerability remediation.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Implement security controls and measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the system development life cycle.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures, including Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Develop and implement cyber defence strategies against advanced persistent threats (APTs) and other cyber attacks.
  • Utilize security tools to enhance the organization’s cyber defence capabilities.
  • Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand security requirements and provide expert guidance on security solutions.
  • Prepare and present security reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on security tools and practices.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of security architecture, design, assurance, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including MS Azure, Windows Defender, Forcepoint, and CyberArk.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in security architecture and design.
  • Relevant certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, CompTIA Security+, or SANS.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
