Summary: The Security and Privacy Operations Analyst role is a hands-on position focused on both Security Operations and Privacy Operations within a leading organization in London. The analyst will be responsible for incident response, enhancing security environments, and supporting privacy operations. This contract position offers a competitive daily rate and is classified as outside IR35. The role requires strong experience with Microsoft security technologies and operational privacy processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate security incident triage, investigation, and response activities
- Enhance Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview environments
- Drive threat hunting and operational security improvement initiatives
- Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and control assurance activities
- Assist with privacy operations including SARs, DSRs, DPIAs, and data governance processes
- Develop and improve operational playbooks, workflows, and automation processes
Key Skills:
- Strong experience within Security Operations, Cyber Defence, or Security Engineering environments alongside Privacy Operations
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) and Microsoft Purview
- Previous experience working with Microsoft security technologies in enterprise environments
- Hands-on incident response and threat investigation capability
- Exposure to GDPR/privacy operations and data protection processes

We’re supporting a leading organisation looking to hire a Senior Security & Privacy Operations Analyst to join their growing cyber security and privacy function in London.
This is a hands-on role sitting across both Security Operations and Privacy Operations. The client is specifically looking for someone with strong experience across: Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Security Operations / Incident Response, Operational Privacy & Data Protection processes
Key Responsibilities
