Summary: We are looking for a skilled Security Analyst to join our Data Protection Governance Team in Brussels, responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring cybersecurity controls to protect various data sources. Key Responsibilities:

• Design cybersecurity data protection controls for detection and prevention.
• Require implementation of controls to data owners to meet control objectives.
• Assess security risks in data protection from conceptual and technical levels.
• Monitor implementation of controls to data sources.
• Collect evidence of control efficiency.
• Communicate evidence upon request from audits or regulators.
• Collaborate with teams involved in security risk management.
• Partner with Cyber-Security, IT, Risk, Audit, and other key business teams.

Key Skills:

• Solid experience in IT security, infrastructure security, application security, or data security.
• Extensive knowledge of control frameworks like CIS TOP20, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002.
• Knowledge of data protection controls such as encryption, DLP, and data access governance.
• Experience in IT risk assessment and control efficiency checks.
• Understanding of inherent risk, residual risk, and control inefficiencies.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and technical documentation.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
