Summary: As a 2nd Line Support Specialist, you will ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and provide high-quality support to employees across European offices. Your role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing support tickets, and contributing to asset management and security initiatives. You will also be responsible for onboarding new hires and managing software deployments. This position requires strong technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support to employees in all European offices, delivering exemplary customer service.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware requests efficiently.
  • Actively manage support tickets through the ticketing system.
  • Prepare PCs and iPhones for new hires.
  • Execute the company’s hardware refresh program, ensuring meticulous asset management.
  • Maintain updates on a subset of devices within the company environment.
  • Utilize Defender365 to manage and mitigate software vulnerabilities, including Windows OS and Office updates and upgrades.
  • Manage SCCM/MECM software deployments.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support role.
  • Proven ability to support a user base of approximately 1000 or more employees across multiple sites.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SCCM/MECM, iVanti LANDesk, Windows Defender, and Redstor backup.
  • Experience in supporting audio-visual equipment and media systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills.
  • Patient and customer-oriented with the ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable team player who is proactive and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT and information security policies.
