Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold meals according to residents' dietary needs.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning for a balanced diet.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies and monitor food safety.
- Oversee stock management, including ordering and checking deliveries.
- Uphold Health & Safety standards in kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and areas.
Key Skills:
- Culinary qualifications (City & Guilds 706 "1 & 2" or equivalent).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and residents.
- Initiative to work independently when needed.
