Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold meals according to residents' dietary needs.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning for a balanced diet.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of food supplies and monitor food safety.
  • Oversee stock management, including ordering and checking deliveries.
  • Uphold Health & Safety standards in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and areas.

Key Skills:

  • Culinary qualifications (City & Guilds 706 "1 & 2" or equivalent).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with team members and residents.
  • Initiative to work independently when needed.
