Summary: The Seasonal Consultant role within the CFO & Business Consulting team focuses on transforming finance functions through innovative strategies. The position involves supporting client engagements throughout the project life cycle, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The consultant will also conduct research and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Support client engagements throughout the project life cycle, assisting with planning, execution, and delivery of solutions.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing loan and guarantee documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries promptly, ensuring high levels of accuracy and service.
- Use financial and bank systems to process transactions and support client operations.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
- Perform data quality assessments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with client onboarding and implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of banking regulations, trade finance practices, and documentation standards (including Guarantees/SBLCs and related rules).
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation, including KYC and legal agreements.
- Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines and support team members as needed.
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills in all aspects of work.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 1+ years or more of relevant experience.
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with top US or international investment banks, either in consulting roles (Big 4/Big 4 equivalent) or directly within financial institutions.
- Hands-on experience with trade finance operations, including guarantees, SBLCs, and related documentation standards (UCP600, ISP98, URDG758).
- Working knowledge of capital markets products, operational processes, and banking regulations.
