Summary: Our client is seeking a strategic SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist for a 6-month contract, focusing on technical SEO and global collaboration. The role involves developing global SEO strategies, leading GEO initiatives, and enabling cross-regional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex digital ecosystems and a strong understanding of generative AI search trends. This position requires occasional travel to the client's London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a global SEO framework with best practices and implementation guidelines.
- Provide SEO support for website migrations and large-scale platform changes.
- Create and roll out a global GEO strategy to optimise visibility in generative AI search results.
- Build and maintain a centralised repository of authoritative content, insights, and data.
- Monitor emerging search trends and generative AI algorithms, updating strategies and training materials accordingly.
- Run training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions to build GEO and SEO capability across global and local teams.
- Work closely with content, tech, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with global standards.
- Help local markets adapt global strategies while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Monitor global SEO and GEO performance using analytics tools to uncover opportunities and share learnings.
- Stay ahead of the curve on SEO and generative search innovation to keep the business competitive.
