Summary: The SDET Test Lead role involves leading multi-skilled testing teams and designing test strategies that align with customer business objectives. The position requires proactive identification of gaps in technologies and processes, as well as collaboration with business teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. The candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations effectively. Additionally, the role demands ownership and flexibility to address critical issues while guiding the automation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in working with multi-skilled testing teams (Manual, Automation, Non-Functional, Digital testing, Test Data, Test Tools, Test Environments etc.)
- Ability to call out gaps in technologies/processes and proactively provide mitigations/solutions.
- Automation Tester who has worked with multiple customers and has exposure to Matrixx, Salesforce velocity, GCP, Apigee.
- Designing and implementing test strategy for Priority Programs that aligns with the Customer’s business objectives and IT infrastructure.
- Identifying and prioritizing tests such as Progression testing, regression testing, integration testing, to maximize the benefits of automation regression and manual regression to cover major functionalities.
- Collaborating with other Business teams to figure out what is coming and what are the changes and then work with leads to cover all possible combinations.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the test strategy, making improvements as needed to optimize testing processes and outcomes.
- Should be flexible to stretch in need to address burning and critical issues.
- Should gain SME level expertise to handle Client director level discussions.
- Work with Automation team to solve their issues and concerns and guide them when needed.
- Should be able to handle Wipro Operations as well in addition to Client deliverables.
- Most important should be responsible enough to take ownership and make sure things are getting done.
- Communication skills and ability to handle client expectations is a major requirement.
- Ability to ‘wow’ the client with intel on best practices and futuristic solutions.
