Senior Software Developer in Test (Java / React) – £500–£550/day Outside IR35 – Hybrid (London or Newcastle) – 6 Months

We’re working with a specialist engineering consultancy helping clients improve software quality, reliability, and delivery outcomes across complex systems. They’re looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) with strong Java and React experience to join on a contract basis as a hands-on quality engineering consultant.

6-month contract (view to extend) £500–£550/day Outside IR35 Hybrid : approx. 1 day per week on-site (London or Newcastle)

Requirements:

  • Strong experience testing Java and React applications
  • Deep knowledge of automated UI testing
  • Experience designing test strategy and architecture
  • Strong understanding of BDD and collaborative Agile delivery
  • Comfortable working in client-facing environments
