p>Purpose of role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly technical SDET/Senior QA to join a rapidly expanding Sports Analytics company based in London Bridge. As a SDET/Senior QA, you will be working in a fast paced, delivery focused environment, playing a critical role in helping a fast-growing company to define and establish its automated test processes and overall quality strategy for several cutting-edge products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with various internal stakeholders
  • Definition of suitable automation approach to support QA activities
  • Building of automation frameworks and automation testing tools
  • Creation of an automated regression test set
  • Working as part of an agile team
  • Develop test solutions, test plans and test case
  • Executing test cases in line with test plans as well as exploratory testing
  • Creation and maintenance of test documentation/artefacts
  • Working with teams on change management and requisite training

Essential:

  • Expert in quality planning and strategy across the entire SDLC
  • Strong knowledge of .Net, C# and Kafka with hands on experience
  • Expert in Automation testing, with focus on programmatic testing of API's and headless services
  • Good knowledge of software development best practices and principles (SOLID, DRY etc)
  • Experience of testing distributed micro services, including queues, caches, message bus etc
  • Understanding of BDD and TDD
  • Good SQL knowledge, with the ability to build complex queries and determine the quality of the data both received and delivered
  • Experience of complex end-to-end system processes involving multiple components and interfaces
  • Strong mathematical and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work without supervision, and use own initiative to get the job done
  • Understand risk-based approaches to testing
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Desirable:

  • Sporting knowledge and interest
  • Good understanding of sports betting
  • Experience working in a "Shift-Left" environment
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practises
  • Agile/Scrum/Iteration based Development/Change methods
  • Experience using Azure DevOps
