Scrum Master with Global Energy Company

Exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to join an exciting new project with this global Energy company. This is an exciting time to join this world-leading Energy company as it evolves from a traditional Oil & Gas enterprise into a future-focused Energy leader. This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embody an agnostic agile mindset and experimental approach, applying the right mix of support and challenge that empower teams to continuously improve.
• Mentor teams as they transition to an Agile approach and new ways of working.
• Coach cross-functional teams on optimising Agile ways of working, identifying waste, and improving feedback loops.
• Contribute to the Agile Community of Practice (CoP) regarding Lean-Agile principles and practices.
• Act as a coach embedded with a cross-functional team of product owners, project management, UX design, engineering managers, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate outcomes of discovery and definition phases.
• Facilitate key Team of Teams events, retrospectives, and workshops (e.g., story mapping, value stream mapping, Scrum of Scrums, product alignment).

Must have Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM I, PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
