Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Drive delivery excellence and promote Agile best practices across engineering teams.
- Identify, manage and remove blockers to ensure consistent delivery progress.
- Facilitate and support Programme Increment (PI) Planning activities.
- Coach teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles and delivery discipline.
- Manage dependencies, risks and delivery challenges across multiple teams within a scaled agile environment.
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across engineering and delivery functions.
- Build strong relationships with senior engineering and programme stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master within complex technology or engineering programmes.
- Strong experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
- Hands-on experience facilitating and supporting PI Planning events.
- Demonstrable track record of coaching teams on Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and challenge senior engineering stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment.
- Experience delivering programmes within the Defence sector.
- Exposure to complex, secure or highly regulated environments.
Security Requirements
- Active SC Security Clearance required.
- UK Sole National.
Contract Details
- Rate: Up to £650 per day
- Duration: 6 months initial contract
- Engagement: Inside IR35
- Location: Reading (2 days per week onsite)
