Summary: The Scrum Master - Networking role in Ipswich involves leading Agile practices across cross-functional teams with a focus on networking and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them through Agile ceremonies and best practices.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Product Owners and technical stakeholders to ensure effective backlog grooming and sprint prioritization.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments or blockers that affect the team’s ability to deliver.
- Ensure Agile principles are upheld while adapting approaches to suit networking and infrastructure-related delivery.
- Support the team in maintaining high levels of performance, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between networking engineers, architects, and other cross-functional teams.
- Help in risk identification, mitigation planning, and ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Drive adoption of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and continuous delivery practices.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software or infrastructure/networking environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Networking knowledge or experience – familiarity with network infrastructure, LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, SDN, cloud networking (AWS, Azure), or enterprise IT networking.
- Experience working with DevOps, IT operations, or network engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
