Summary: Hays is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a significant program at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. The role involves collaborating with scrum teams and Product Owners to drive Agile delivery and improve performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive effective Agile delivery by leading Scrum ceremonies and ensuring strong Jira discipline.
- Partner closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and prioritize work.
- Use delivery metrics to coach teams and improve flow efficiency.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to manage dependencies, risks, releases, and timelines.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and proactively identify blockers.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Scrum Master in investment banking organizations.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Proficiency in Jira and delivery metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services, particularly Tier-1 banks.

Hays have partnered with a Tier 1 Investment Bank to appoint an experienced Scrum Master to a significant programme of work. Working closely with scrum teams and Product Owners and collaborating across the bank, if you're an experienced Scrum Master with experience in investment banking organisations (preferably within Tier-1 environments) then we want to hear from you.
Role: Scrum Master
Length: 12 months + extension
Location: London
Hybrid: Yes (3 days in-office)
Rate: £700 - £800/day via Umbrella
Your new role and what you'll need to succeed
Drive effective Agile delivery by leading Scrum ceremonies, ensuring strong Jira discipline, and keeping work, capacity, and progress accurately aligned.
Partner closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain clear communication, prioritise work, and ensure backlog readiness and smooth execution.
Use delivery metrics and insights to coach teams, improve flow efficiency, and continuously enhance performance and ways of working
Coordinate across multiple teams to manage dependencies, risks, releases, and timelines, including facilitating Scrum of Scrums and major delivery milestones.
Build strong cross-functional relationships while proactively identifying blockers, driving resolutions, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
Experience within financial services (particularly Tier-1 banks) and regulatory reporting will be highly regarded.
